Nope. All our boards arrive pre-oiled with food-safe finish so you can start chopping right away.

How do I clean the board after use?

Hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Never soak or run through the dishwasher. Dry standing upright.

We use premium domestic hardwoods and hand-finish each piece. No glued filler strips, no shortcuts.
